Former Hindu Slave Woman Turns Politician in Pakistan
Kolhi was a slave of landlords. She has broken the shackles of slavery
and has stood up against them in the elections. When she made the asset
declaration required of candidates for Pakistan’s May elections, she
listed the following items: two beds, five mattresses, cooking pots and a
bank account with life savings of Rs. 2,800 rupees ($28).
Her aim is to eradicate the bounded slavery in our society. She is contesting from PS-50, Hyderabad. Salute to this brave lady.
